This rural Sacramento property

is being transformed

This was a fun irrigation design opportunity for me. The landscape designer, Marti Meyer, created a wonderful drought-tolerant landscape. Other than some large shade trees, a natural lawn that's been there for 30+ years, and some existing shrubs sprinkled about, it's pretty much a blank slate.

To complement Marti's beautiful landscape, I created a cutting-edge irrigation system with rotary nozzles on the lawn, line-source drip grids for the plants, and drip-spiral rings for the trees.

The irrigation was partially installed by our hands-on workshop attendees on June 22nd. Due to high heat, the plants will go in sometime in the fall.

The homeowner is acting as the contractor for this installation. The irrigation will take care of more than 25,000 square feet of landscaping (.57 acres).
